Robyn and Robert’s Vilano Beach engagement session was a highlight of my week! There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with my couples on the beach!
Before their Vilano Beach engagement session, Robyn had reached out to me in the spring about photographing their August elopement at the Bayfront Marin House in St. Augustine, Florida. Of course I jumped at the chance to document their special day! Whenever I have the chance, I love to meet with my couples before their big day. Getting to know each other beforehand always helps make the wedding day portraits a little easier. I get to know how they work together as a couple and they learn how I work as a photographer. Simplifies several things and just makes it more fun!
Robert and Robyn were game for whatever location so I suggested the beach for their session. Because some on, when is the beach ever a bad idea? 😂 We met during high tide as the sun was dipping down, but we got the portraits I was hoping to get! These two are so flippin’ adorable and comfortable with one another, which made my job pretty easy!
The couple chose the Bayfront Marin House for their elopement because it’s beautiful! In addition, the Marin House makes it SO easy to have the micro-wedding of your dreams.
Luckily, these two cuties are totally flexible and did everything I asked during their session. Robert twirled, dipped, and carried his soon-to-be-bride which is every photographer’s dream! 😂 We love movement in photos, not super posed and stiff images. Robert and Robyn absolutely understood the assignment. 😂
