I first met Rex and Maria the day of their Fountain of Youth engagement session and they honestly couldn’t have been sweeter! Right away they were kind and conversational, which always helps to break the ice and get into the groove of the session. Most people, like Rex and Maria, don’t step in front of the camera everyday so it’s my job to make everyone comfy and cozy while they’re in front of the lens!
It didn’t take any time before they were laughing and doing exactly what I was hoping- just being themselves.
While we made our way around Magnolia Ave., Maria told me about their wedding day. The plans they had for their ceremony, the details of their reception, how many guests they were expecting, etc. I always feel so honored when couples fill me in on the details. I truly do care about their big day!
Rex and Maria met during their college days, but the way they are with each other, you’d think they have known each other their entire life. They are so relaxed with one another, totally in sync. I barely feel like I did any actual work during their session! 😂 They’re naturally affectionate toward one another and I loved being able to capture those precious moments between the two of them.
I’m so excited to document their special day in March which will begin at The Collector Inn, then onto the Cathedral Basilica, and finally at the Fountain of Youth. I just know it’s going to be a one of a kind day.
