Serendipity : the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.
This is a word that I don’t use very often, but I cannot think of a better one.
Jennifer and Jessica came to me several months ago, in hopes of booking their wedding day photography. Unfortunately, I was already booked and had to pass on their wedding.
Months go by and I receive an inquiry for a wedding that was to take place in three days. THREE days. As chance would have it, Jennifer and Jessica were in an unfortunate situation, and needed to remedy it, fast. Their original photographer cancelled on them last minute with a less than honorable reason, and they needed a replacement. My schedule had opened up, leaving me with the ability to step in and help them out. And that’s what I did. Let me say, it was a beautiful day. I’m honored to have been a part of it.
